Our Words?

I wonder if we ought to examine our words.

I think we notice self-control the most, or the lack there of, when it comes to our language! Big people talk about ideas - average people talk about events - little people talk about others, but God’s people talk about Him.

In Galatians 5:23, Paul tells us that a part of the fruit of the Spirit is, “self-control.”

Self-control separates the haves from the have-nots. When I speak of having it, I am talking about having the Holy Spirit at work inside of us. Self-control proves where a person is on their spiritual journey. God wants to help, if you want the help.

Do you want the help?

Do your words point your heritage toward God or away from God?
