Stubborn anger manifests itself in resentment. Resentment is suppressed and that resentment quietly smolders deep, down inside. Resentful anger does not blowup, but instead, it clams up. Pressure begins to build on the cork. There is a lot of stewing going on. Resentment is nursed and kept alive for all to enjoy or for all not too enjoy. At this point, a person is not much good for anything because that person can hardly think about anything else. Resentment is in every conversation, every thought, every deed and every motive.
Resentful anger is poisonous if not cancerous. It spreads not only all over you, but it also spreads to anyone who is looking forward to jumping on your bandwagon.
CHURCH! IT IS TIME TO BURN THE BAND WAGONS!
May I give you and me a solution to stubborn anger? Ephesians 4:32 says, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you."
