The big question is this, is that attitude positive or negative?
Both the hummingbird and the vulture fly overhead!
As they look down, all vultures see is rotting meat because that is what they are looking for. Hummingbirds ignore the smelly flesh of dead animals. Instead, they look for the colorful blossoms on numerous plants. Vultures live on what was. Vultures fill themselves with what is dead and gone. Hummingbirds live on what is. They seek new life.
Each bird finds what it is looking for.
People do as well. People find what they want to find. People find what they are looking for and that finding … and then doing something with what they find … produces an attitude. A good attitude or a bad attitude. For example, if you want to find something wrong with my preaching. You will find it because people find what they are looking for. Likewise, if you want to find something that you like about my preaching, you will find it because people find what they are looking for.
It is true! “Those who wish to sing will always find a song.” Swedish Proverb
Why do our attitudes today matter in regard to life tomorrow?
