As they hiked, they came to a large, raging, violent river. Those men obviously needed to get to the other side, but they had no idea what to do. Joe prayed to God and asked, "Please God, give me strength to cross this river." Poof! God gave him big arms and strong legs and he swam across. Seeing this, Dave prayed to God and asked, "Please God, give me the strength and the tools to cross this river." Poof! God gave him a rowboat and he was able to row from shore to shore. Bob saw the success of the other two men and thought that swimming and or rowing were far too much work. So, Bob prayed to God and asked, "Please God, give me the strength and the tools, and the intelligence, to cross this river."
Poof! God turned Bob into a woman. She looked at a map, hiked upstream and then walked across the bridge.
Women! They are faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, but Godly women are able to take Chuck Norris in a karate match, force the sun to stand still and then still have time to turn water into wine.
God is so serious about the vital role of Godly ladies within any society that He paints a clear, vivid and passionate picture of Godly Females in the Book of Titus.
Titus 2:3-5 says, “Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted too much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”
