Verbal Slander!

In Acts 6, the Apostles admitted that there was a problem and then they fixed it!

The apostles knew that the problem of the neglected Grecian widows was not going to go away all by itself. Nothing is gained by letting problems fester no matter how much other people have murmured against you. So, instead of allowing verbal slander to discourage them, the apostles chose to do right no matter how much they had been wronged! Wow, what a challenge for us, but God is up to the challenge as He fills us with His presence so that we might be able to pay back good for evil.

What all of us must do -- in every area and environment of our lives -- is to ignore the murmurers and deal with issues because that is what Jesus would do.
