My Brown Bed Sheets!

What is your perfect sleeping environment?

I moved onto the campus of Olivet Nazarene University in the fall of 1986.

I remember putting a set of brown sheets on my bed. I did not change or wash those sheets all semester. I thought once about changing or washing my brown sheets, but then it dawned on me, “I take showers at night, so how dirty could my brown sheets really be? Besides, changing my brown sheets would take a lot of time and energy. No one ever sees my brown sheets! It really was not that big of a deal!”

How gross do you think my brown sheets grew to be? Does anyone believe that I was wise in my decision not to change or wash my brown sheets?

Spiritually speaking, sometimes the sheets need to be changed or washed! In regards to our attitudes, I wonder if it is time for some to do the laundry?
