A Good Yawn!

I read last week that yawning is nature’s way of telling us that we only have
20% of our battery life left!

Actually, yawning is a still a complete medical mystery. In most cases, yawning is involuntary. Yawning also seems to be very contagious! Here are the top six thoughts about why people yawn!

• Not Enough Oxygen
• Boredom
• Stress
• Sleepiness
• Brain Chemistry and my favorite … Evolutionary Roots! This is right, primates, like baboons, yawn as a display of dominance and aggression.

No matter what the cause of a good yawn, when yawning is done in a social setting, the general idea communicated is one of extreme boredom!

I just wonder! Do angels yawn in public? Do angels have the capacity to get bored? Is your guardian angel being lulled into a state of slumber because you are not causing enough trouble for the enemy?

Stephen was seen as a troublemaker … a troublemaker to the darkness! His guardian angels had their hands full until God took Stephen home.  Spend some time in Acts 6:8-15 today and be inspired!
