In Acts 6:1-8, that first set of servant leaders thought this way, “I do not have all of the answers, but I know that God does. So, we will trust in Him based on His faithfulness in the past.”What those first servant leaders talked about matched up with how they lived! Church, there is nothing boring about that! In fact it is the antithesis of boring. It is charismatic. People want to know that we believe what we say we believe. No wonder that first church saw so many lives transformed!
God has demonstrated His faithfulness to us in the past so that we might demonstrate more faithfulness to Him in the present. For those who have always insisted on being faithful to kingdom things, now is the time to keep up that insistence. In the days ahead, if we will show God our faith, He will show us His faithfulness. I plan on putting myself in a position -- often -- where God has to show me just how faithful He really is.
